Lake and Flowers

Two things that make me very happy... large bodies of water and flowers.

Also, sunsets. I have loved sunsets since I was a very young child. I inherited my mother's appreciation of them. She would sit outside every evening in the summer and watch until the light faded from the sky. I used to love sitting there with her and watching the sun sink in the west.

And clouds. I love clouds. 

There is so much about these two photos that bring me great joy. I hope they bring joy and smiles to you too.

Daisies daisies everywhere...

Recently I began playing around with learning a few new effects while editing my photos. I grabbed a shot of some daisies I took maybe a year ago and wanted to see all the cool things I could do with it. The original photo was taken in natural light right before dusk next to a large lake in rural Pennsylvania. This is a very long post, but I figured I'd keep them all together.
